NFL Is the NFL Rigged? ( Sir Elzio Mega Discussion )

Would ya believe the name....

I-Perfection Harris, cat was a cornerback at Georgia Tech.

Then there was Javelin Guidry, as a junior in HS he won the Texas state 100m, then before his senior year his family moved to Cali, so he wins the Cali state 100m, think I have that right. Thinking he was a Jet cornerback.

As a high schooler he was clocked in 10.13 100m, when in HS Tyreek Hill 10.16.

In 1972 USSR's Valery Borzov won the Olympic 100m in 10.14.

So the starting 15, the fantasy, obviously,

Jim Brown....have read he was a 10 flat 100yards cat, now add 6-2 230 at a time where D line were 270ish and we still had white DB's.
Bo Jackson......far faster than his 10.39 PR, he was like Deion (10.26) he knew football was his $$$$$ they toyed with track.
GRONK
MEGATRON
Hercshel Walker......legit 10.23, not 10.22 as we see in the below video
Cookie Gilchrist.....actually an AFLer, a 250 pounder with speed in the 60's, cat went straight from HS to the CFL then the Bills, first AFL er to rush for a 1000 yards
Marcus Dupree.....at 230 pounds he came in second at the Mississippi track champs in the 100, lost to future WR holder Calvin Smith
Lawrence Taylor.....do doubt he could stay cool enought to play rugby. Only footballer where grown ass men were actually afraid of, or so I have read.
Ray Lewis
Tony Gonzalez
Antonio Gates
Shannon Sharpe
Earl Campbell
Christian "Nigerian Nightmare" Okoye
Derrick Henry

coming off the bench

Nick Bosa
JJ Watt
Deacon Jones
TJ Watt
Night Train Lane.....known as a very bad man
John Henry Johnson.....see above

Do recommend these reads....

The Courtship of Marcus Dupree by Willie Morris
Out OF Bounds....Steve Delsohn and Jim Brown
END ZONE....Don Delillo ficton

The House on the Borderland William Hope Hodgson......if you like HP Lovecraft, this cat influensed him. Book from 1908 a classic in Cosmic Doom, a must read. A Xmas gift.

Hodgson was kiled in WWII, bummer, a great writer,

Imagine this playing rugby

Looking at the weather this weekend in Patsville, rain.......hmmmm?

But only in the 40;s, so not too cold.

Herbert has the worst protection in the league. All he needed was one pro-bowler to go 5-1. Show me what Maye can do behind that line and on that day I'll form an opinion.

Maye has no Pro Bowlers.

Maye also had better NCAA numbers than Herbert, so...................

Maye has no Pro Bowlers.
I'm aware. He also doesn't have the OL with the worst pass block winrate and 2nd worst run block winrate in the league; the 2nd worst pressure rate allowed; the 3rd worst pressure rate allowed when not blitzed; the 3rd worst rushing yards won before contact. Maye did have a line that gave him the second most time to throw in the league. Yet he still took the most sacks in the entire league despite strong protection.

Maye had a great year, I'm not trying to take that away from him, and he's young, so it's only silver linings, but let's not pretend he had a great year throwing for the Browns or the Chargers.

The eyeball test can't be ignored, watcing Maye play at NC and now in the NFL you can see........IT. The young guy is accurate regardless of who he plays. And he can run and does that smartly.

A 113 passer rating, who does that, in their second season?

Did Cowherd just say that Christian McCaffrey is the third best RB ever, whoa~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jim Brown
Barry Sanders
Walter Payton
Adrian Peterson
Emmitt Smith
Laidanian Tomlinson
Eric Dickerson
OJ Simpson
Earl Campbell

Might be able to debate him around here, maybe

Went 15-1 giving up 198 and just like in a movie only loss was on MNF to Miami who were protecting that Mercury Morris undefeated team.

Weird deal with West Texas State the school Morris came from, his blocking back, Duane Thomas remember him as a Cowboy? The Buffalos giving the pro rasslin' world....

Dusty Rhodes
Brusier Brody
Tully Blanchard a QB
Stan "Lariat" Hansen
Dory Funk Jr
Terry Funk
Ted DiBiase
Manny "Ragin' Bull" Fernandez
Bobby Duncum
Tito Santana

Speaking of names....

Tonight we have speedy Malachi Toney (only 18) a WR with Miami who is electric, a word I expect to hear tonight when talking about him. Kid reminds me of Rocket Ismail in his ND days.

Then there is Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss, apparently his mom saw a Felix Trinidad fight, or so I heard.

Too early to talk Toney but Chambliss will be moving on, he is a bit smallish but other than that he has some serious skills.

Do expect the Hurricanes to win this, it's always better when Miami, Notre Dame and USC are in the mix, at least we have Miami this season, so far.

That was too easy, and yep....electric.

Thinking about dumping my Steelers play and bucking one of the stronget trends ever. A 24-0 trend.

I will probably regret this but a 42 year old QB vs that Texan D, Hmmmm?

So....

Eagles
Rams
Bears
Pats and won;t be that cold but might rain
Josh Allen too much
Texans

Getting Williams and Pursall back but don't think it will be enought would love to be wrong. We really miss Bosa, we have jo pass rush without him.
