It doesn't just skew the perceptions, it skews the lines of dialogue. If every other thread is about right wing identity politics, it's a right wing identity politics forum. And that's what this is.

Well that isn't an issue we necessarily look into, especially when liberal posters are free to make threads just as much as conservatives are. It's kinda like when I heard people complaining about nonwhites breeding more. White people aren't being stopped from reproducing.

Wow, there's a lot of bullshit in this post. You're not even American and you're making these sweeping claims about American politics. If you don't recall the BS the right threw at Obama that's on you bruh. But I don't feel like dealing with your exceedingly tedious posting style. I guess this is what other posters feel about my own style of posting, no wonder they get tired of it.

Basically you have nothing to retort with outside of "dude you're not even American". Fine.

Oh there's just too much. For one you're changing the goalposts since you're talking about the political arena outside this forum whereas the OP is talking about this forum only. That's just the tip, there's also the way you're downplaying the polarization caused by the right under 8 years of Obama and as well as downplaying the extent to which right leaning posters here seek out non-stories. But as I said your posting is very tedious to deal with. Sort of hypocritical of me I guess since I also multi-quote and write walls of texts but I don't really hold it against people if they don't want to deal with it.

That kind of goes to my point. More reasonable threads are left alone because they are not about right wing identity politics, because that's the focus of the forum. There are brief periods when the ongoing Trump disaster gets more focus, though a big chunk of that is about right wing identity politics too. That's the dominant theme for sure. When people are free to make threads, the popular themes make for the most discussion, which is right wing identity politics. Without judging it and regardless of my opinion, that's just what it is.

First of all, if you gloss through this thread you'll find people discussing all sorts of tangential issues not directly related to the original post. It inevitably occurs in nearly every thread. So all of those posts should be reported as spam?

When I post an image I do it once. You do it a thousand times. How does your stupid hot dog GIF help us to address whether or not the forum is left or right leaning? It accomplishes nothing and it's not interesting because we have all seen them countless times before. It's lame.

Some of that is consistent with the US news feed as well. I'd say the biggest things in the news is Trump, Russia, terroist attacks, and these neonazi/ antifa events. That's also what id say the WR is reflecting in popular threads as well.

It could be left poster threads just drop off but I haven't seen that as a regularly occurring thing, especially when the more partisan a topic is, the more likely the other side is likely to come in and try to derail it. The threads that drop a lot are ones that usually can't be framed into a typical left v. right situation. Some survive but most drop off

Yea a lot of "right wingers" like myself dont agree with a lot of the "right wing" stuff and the same with many "left wingers."

Usually we all just argue about the topic rather than the whole party vs party thing.

Its funny because I can argue with people here then just go hang out with the same people in mayberry and talk about Game of Thrones for an hour

None of those guys are a conservative. And that is not an attack.

Everything has shifted left the last 9 years.

There are very few true conservatives.
th

This was the last conservative.
He also warned about letting religion in politics. The right can get shit done other than bitch and moan about social issues.
The left has sold out the middle class.
Both sides suck and the general population is pissed off so we end up with a fat orange idiot as president.

I talked about the political arena outside of this forum to further point out the tendency for over-reacting and outright hysteria amongst the leftist ranks, because the reality is that, right now, they are largely fighting against ghosts, non-issues, without being able to properly communicate the source of their outrage, because the media is doing it for them. "The right" has found a more measured way to manifesting its outrage over the internet, conversing amongst each other and sharpening their knowledge, gradually. What began as rogue conspiracies under Obama's regime, is now turning into a more coherent understanding of the world's events, beyond NWO plots and Commie take-overs. The tide is slowly turning from right-wingers being Fox News drones, to having an actual grasp on real-life issues. The left, however, remains largely dependent on the information granted to them by their chosen news channels, news channels which may have once served them well, but no longer do, as they've turned to yellow journalism in order to stay afloat.

I do not see how I was down-playing the polarization caused by the right under Obama, when I was never even referring to it. I was referring to a specific case which could be compared to the Charlottesville event (although only loosely), where Obama caught criticism for being unwilling to call out "radical Islam". Threads about trans-gender kids, which die off after 2 pages after a few "business as usual" comments on the subject, aren't truly comparable to the pouring outrage over that event. Perhaps the left too would benefit from more "outrage porn", so that they wouldn't have to go bonkers over a scummy protest gone wrong. Get the stuff off their chest and move on.

You began the multi-quoting and the elaboration of the argument, so I do not really see why you're complaining about it so much. These were hardly "walls of text" that were being written. I keep my posts short and concise unless I'm prompted to do otherwise.

I don't usually post outside of here but I think it does help a lot of people here when they run into something they disagree with but it's their buddy. Usually I don't see a lot of posters picking issue by issue. I guess it's more clear they are in those threads where people just say their list of views by topic but usually in a thread by thread basis, I tend to see what I expected before the poster made the post.

If you judged the forum purely by the threads, and not by the posts in each thread, you'd think this is a lighter version of Breitbart.

I would like to know who are the women in The War Room. If any. Sometimes because of the avatar, I think I'm talking to a woman when they are in fact a guy. Not sure why guys feel compelled to use women in their avatar. Maybe they (the women) want to remain anonymous, or Sherdog does not give you the male/female option. Seems like having your name in 'pink' no longer works for women. @Fawlty and I were talking about this a while back. Actually, I don't think we have any women in the WR. Anyone know of any?

I always thought @IngaVovchanchyn was - no disrespect, maybe it's because of the AV.

Take your gender identifying hate speech elsewhere!
