Ruffy doesn’t fight the way he does by accident. He trains to fight like that. He trades the functionality of neckbeard grappling for the showmanship of spinning shit, and in doing so reduces his chances of victory but he is more entertaining to watch. Of course Chimaev is boring. And comparing Chimaev’s hugging of DDP for 25 minutes to any Mike Tyson fight is nigh on offensive.
