Is Rose Namajunas depressed?

I think Rose Namajunas is a great fighter but seems to always have a depressed look on her face and even said at the post-fight press conference that she needs to find the fun in life again.
She is definitely a hard girl to read when it comes to emotions
Are you basically saying she should smile more so you feel better?

sHE'S WITH BAT BARRY

of course she is depressed, the guy is so annoying

I'd be depressed if I looked were a chick that looked like a dude, sure.

She is definitely a hard girl to read when it comes to emotions as to others you can tell when they are loving life to the fullest. If she does have a depression problem that would be a shame and her own business of course. As a fan I hope she gets a shot at the title.

I wonder if fighters do suffer from depression due to fighting as well.
shes young, pretty (with long hair anyway), famous, has money, is white...living in the 21st century.

waaaah, I'm depressed.
no sympathy here

Still waiting for her to change her nickname to Furiosa. Would be so legit.

On topic though, I hope she figures herself out. She has the grit and ability to be fantastic. It's not easy for anyone - MMA isn't a job, it's a lifestyle. You have to be a little insane to get to the top and sacrifice, look at Joanna. She's cute and cuddly in interviews but she's batshit crazy when it comes to her opponents and her belt.

She always looks like her parents just told her she was adopted and then the put her kittens in a blender and made her watch but I'd say it's mostly the face

impossible to tell, would have to get deep into her thoughts to find out.

She might talk about suicide on Ellen after that title shot.

And she can actually sing too damn

Talented girl and fantastic DNA as well

She seems to have some fight nerves / self-confidence issues. They creeped up most notably in the Esparza fight but it appeared to be less of a problem since then. She's really, really good and has the potential to win the belt one day, especially with how young she is. She might have some problems fully believing the things people are telling her about herself. People with rough pasts tend to be more hesitant in fully embracing and believing praise because it gives people power over them -- if you allow someone to lift you up, you run the risk of giving them the power to drop you. Trust issues are very common for people that had tough beginnings.

Not necessarily saying that's Rose's issue, but it's one to always be mindful of when trying to understand someone with a difficult background.
