Too much of a cut to make MW so his cardio isnt reliable , but underpowered as a LHW.

I see him struggling against solid guys with good cardio like Caio, DDP and Strickland.

UFC LHW is shallow right now but there is a power difference. Maybe test the waters?

imo, when someone misses weight, they should be forced to fight a tiger or bear. And the opponent gets a front row seat and win bonus. Call it the loserweight division or something.

He was dealing with some some flu actually. Maybe due to too hectic schedule.
He will be back and will cause lot of trouble to opponents.
Only thing is at which level idk if he is champsionship or gate keeper material

"oh man I've got the flu and I can't get out of bed. Time to go fight a top 5 guy in my underwear"

you really believe he had the flu?

big book of excuses

That tweet was fake unless you have a real source.

Too many weight cuts in too little time plus being sick. You would think a guy like Khamzat would have a little humility and empathy after nearly retiring because of COVID and overtraining.

I did not know it was fake thank you for pointing it out.
A new statement came out on BJPenn dot com. It seems it was more of overtraining which makes sense.
Anyhow it’s common sense, 5 fights in a year is a bit too much.

Especially when he's almost 35. I get it, though. He was trying to fast track his way to a MW title shot before he gets much older.

Agreed ! Can’t blame him he gave up his physiothérapie center in Netherlands to chase UFC gold
Hopefully he makes enough to reopen a new and bigger center but that’s gonna take better performances

Last week already RDR was unbeatable. Now he's a bum and nobody's friend. Illnesses and injuries are just excuses. Try to find some Middle Ground Sherbros. The hyperbole is insufferable at times...

there once was a fighter, who, at HW, moved like a MW, once in a lifetime
