Is Overeem the cause of Mark Hunt not jumping on his opponents after a knockdown?

I mean he knocked down Overeem and jumped right on him and ended up getting submitted

Ofcourse not... he didnt knock down Overeem either, they just scrambled to the ground and Mark got submitted....

I wouldn't be surprised if so. It's Frank Mir, for God's sake, he could catch anyone in a submission at any time.

Hunts strength is unreal. Look at how he threw Overeem to the ground like a bag of dirty laundry that youre pissed you have to wash.

Wow never seen that fight....awesome finish

Good reminder. makes me wonder if he still grapples as much. looked smooth as hell.

Loved how Gegard took him too

That's the part of this fight that I always remember first when someone brings it up. Even though I feel like I can't trust you, based on your username and avatar, haha.

no he does it because he doesnt like you TS and he wants you to be upset

Mir vs Nog II is a good reason.

Plus, half the time a fighter jumps on a downed opponent, they end up getting tied up in their guard, allowing the opponent to recover.

Can someone explain wth that submission is?

edit: nvm, couldnt see his arm pointed upwards like that cos of the angle.

I doubt it. If that were so then why the FUCK would he spend even 2 seconds in Fabricio GD Werdum's guard?

LOL
It would be a mistake to follow him to the ground even if he was out cold.

Yup. In this vid, he pawns 6'5", 350lb Bob Sapp, in a tug o' war. Very short list of guys in mma history with that kind of brute strength...Brock, Tank, Kerr, and one or two others. And of course, Pudz.

I think its a matter of him knowing when someone is done based on how he connected.

He followed up on Bigfoot after knocking him down.

Ummm, it's more like he knew Overeem wasn't done. He actually sort of fell in a trap right there. Wow, didn't know Reem took that fight on 3 days notice and he actually won it like that. Huge difference with how things are arranged at the UFC HW division, we never get to see good f-ing fights after someone pulls out.
