Good striker, physically imposing, decent takedown ability but so fragile that once he is wobbled he is not able to recover?

At the end of Kongo's UFC career even one dimensional strikers such as Roy Nelson were heavily favoured against him and I can see the same happening with Overeem. Anyone with toughness and heavy hands would now be expected to do well against him.

It's a sad sad time for an Overeem fan like myself

we need more overeem threads

He is the first Reem

Except Kongo could recover. Check his fight with Barry. Overeem would have been out cold, no come back. He's a glass cannon nowadays...

Not able to recover?

Kongo gets dropped often, but his recovery is great and he's got tons of heart. Just look at the Cain fight.

Look at kong is last fight against lavar Johnston . Lavar went in swing like a crazy man was connecting with some on Kongo but Kongo bounced back . Say what you will but if you put Kongo v overoid can garuntee that Kongo will KO him .

Overeem vs. Kongo sounds like a great future Bellator main event.

Decent comparison but Kongo seems to be able to recover and is willing to keep trying to fight back. As for Reem, it seems like once he gets rocked a something he just freezes until the referee stops the fight.
