Is no one else excited for Lawler v Woodley?

People underestimating woodley, he's not gonna stand and bang like condit, hendricks and rory
 
I am. I've always missed Lawler's fights live, but not this time. I've already purchased a live chicken. right before the fight, I will sacrifice it to the Just Bleed God, pour the blood all over myself, and shout "JUST BLLEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!!!!!!" The JBG will then send his Herald, the Red King, to accept the sacrifice, if I am worthy.

If all goes well, Ruthless will be taking home the gold. #andstill

Pretty much, i just think it depends wtf woodley does. if hes chokes again then its a letdown. But if he actually uses his talents then he can win this no doubt
 
Big fan of Lawler but not interested in the card or fight

Not worth staying up till 6am for

I think we could see Woodley humping his way to win the belt unfortunately.

I don't think he's hated. I see people saying they don't think he should get a title shot. Given that he hasn't fought in a year and a half and was obliterated by Rory just a few fight back, I see their point.

Make no mistake, Woodley can win this fight. But I don't think he will. I think Lawler weather the storm and then finishes him.

He was promised a shot a long time ago,its just long overdue for him. Thompson gonna get his shot anyway might as well let tyron get a shot too
 
Nope .. I am not excited at all about this match up. That said, I will still be watching with interest in the outcome since I am fairly certain that Wonderboy will be getting the next shot regardless of who wins this fight, so I do want to know who Wonderboy's next opponent is and how their skill sets match up.

It wasn't a wise promise then. I assume Dana White was involved.

I don't think Woodley is a bad fighter. But his only top win in the UFC was against Condit. Kim and Gastelum are good wins, but they don't make up for getting dismantled by Rory.
 
Two top 5 guys in one of the most competitive divisions are fighting, why shouldnt I be excited?

I'm excited. It's because Lawler is fighting and pretty much has nothing to do with Woodley.
 
Woodley's just not that popular, there's no "new champ" hype train.
