His placement/precision and timing is clearly better, better head movement. Nick has better combinations for sure, better bodywork but he really needs guys against the cage to do his best work. I feel Nate could do more in open space and has cleaner and more technical boxing. He can do work against the cage too (Gray 3) but he isnt as reliant on cutting guys off as Nick. Neither guy has great footwork. Nick seems harder to hit with kicks and does better work in clinch with his boxing

Nick has better grappling (wrestling and BJJ) IMO

Nick has combinations and Higher paced volume, Nick bodywork is better, which is why he is effective with his volume, his switching up the head and the body allows it to be overwhelming.

Nate has sneaky crisp 1-2's and a more stinging jab. Good counter hook, he seems better with kicks when he mixes them, the front snap kick with his lead leg to the body was crisp followed by a jab to create the confusion Nick does with his body punches is nice and fits his outside style, but i'm afraid he'lle keep using those setups scarcely.

Nick is a bit better at everything, he still big brothers Nate.

Damn that is very hard question. But i agree with Snoowpy. That 1-2 is soul burning. I cant answer this. Both got similiar style with their own pros. But if i had to pick it or die by vacuum cleaner sucking out my guts... Nick.

His head amortization is better, he mix it up a little better, and he pressure his oponnents more.

I'll be honest in that I don't know enough about the subtleties of striking to say for sure. I think Nick seems to be more consistent with but at the same time rely more on his hands only. I like the way Nick hits the body more than Nate does. VS 155ers Nate seems to posses more power relative to Nick vs 170 guys. If I had to pick 1 guy to win a fight between them and weight was relatively the same I'd pick Nick I guess.

Both have great mma boxing. Its their own style. But big Brother is a few steps better.

I don't think us Sherdoggers have the knowledge to pick out the subtle differences of their striking and BJJ to say who's better because they seem to be equally just as good. Same exact fighting style. Same pop in their punches. They just have the same genetics.

Nick is better everywhere besides communicating and I think Nate is more agressive with his jj.

Through my layman observation it seems that Nick is the better boxer in terms of offensive skill (more variety, better combos) and Nate has better takedown defense.

nick is superior by a good bit at his best imo.

I dont this Nate has better TDD honestly. Nick stuffed GSP takedowns as well as most of a prime Sherk who kept reshooting after failed attempts and is one of the GOAT transition/chain wrestlers

Nate gets taken down much easier with much less resistance and plus Nick has never gotten ragdolled the way Nate did against a green Rory or DHK. Even Bendo easily took him down at will

Nate is better. Nick plays around too much, Nate does it but not as much.

Yeah I don't know that there is a dramatic difference, but I remember Nate dealing with Jim Miller really well (back when Miller was near the top of the division) and fairly well with Maynard too. Getting taken down by Rory and DHK are hardly anything to be embarrassed about as they are great grapplers in a higher weight class, that would be like holding it against Nick if he got taken down by beast grapplers at 185. Nick has never been ragdolled like that because he never put himself in the cage with that level of grappler in a higher weight class.

Nate is the better boxer and Nick is the better bjj artist. Both are elite strikers though.

Yet Nick has never beat a wrestler and Nate has and Nick has never beat a top 5 fighter at his weight and Nate has twice.

MAYBE Nick is more skilled, but Nate is the better fighter

Nick doesn't really give a shit anymore. He stopped really using good footwork. Nate still uses footwork, but they both have great boxing.

Nick actually has some of the most underrated TDD in MMA (its not great, but he is no Mir or Condt). Nate is the better fighter though and is better at putting it all together
