Both English fighters who are full of themselves and have a huge sense of entitlement. Both even though being brutally destroyed in fights multiple time have this ridiculous arrogance about themselves. Both are delusional and are both a bit overpaid. Both have have always lost fights when they step up to fight the elite everytime.download.jpg Is this a fair comparison ?

Bisping is the GOAT of gatekeepers. He is a legit very good fighter. Just never GREAT. Had he possessed POWER, he may well have been a great fighter / champion.

That was the one main, but very importnt missing ingredient he has lacked against the top contenders.

Sounds like Amir Khan to me everytime he steps up to face the elite competition he losses. He beats everyone that's not elite.
 
There's a very fine line between arrogance and confidence. You also have to remember these guys are trying to generate hype and sell fights.

Very true. Mikes been a great fighter over the years but there's no denying that he's not elite. Can't fault the man for achieving what he has done with the tools at his disposal though. Lots of people talk crap about him on here but he's like Joe Rogan for me for the UFC. He's just part of the experience. People like Mike are few and far between when a few years back there were countless Counts to go around. He should be kept for as long as possible. Along with Machida, Shogun, Rashad etc

you see that Canelo dropped the title to reduce the strain on negotiations between the two. that is a damn exciting fight, most excited I have been in awhile

Id say he's better than Khan. Khans a talented boxer but he'll never get past his chin problems. He did well against Canelo untill that reoccuring problem showed up again.
Bisping on the other hand has managed to have a fairly successful career and hasnt showed the blatant chinny-ness that Khan has despite being stretched a few times.
