Is meth that bad?

It has such a bad stigma (rightfully so) that I don't know why anyone would want to try it. I saw a documentary on a trashy mom that was hooked on it. She would take apart all the electronics in the house. Then she would spend the rest of the day furiously masterbating. She was contemplating letting her sons tweaked friends jam her. I get the appeal of getting a buzz. I get the idea of a chill pill. I get weed high. But tweaking? Sounds terrible

I don't get it either. Jittery, paranoid, no appetit, can't sleep. It doesn't make you laugh or hallucinate. Highly addictive. Shitty drug.

I took some class in highschool/ can't remember the exact name of it think but it was some sort of guidance counseling class- it was an automatic A and you just sat around talking about "feelings" and you could pass and not really partake either.

Most of the time it was chicks who would go off on long tangents about how they hate their mom and what not- typical female highschool drama. So after listening to that for like 20 minutes it comes to this kids turn who's from Boston and his speech is a bit slurred.

Kid was probably 16 at the time. He goes on to tell us his life story how him and his brother got put into a foster home at like 12 or something. His foster parents were meth heads. He got caught hooked on meth at like 13 or something.

Said he was just got sober and his weight got down to 75 lbs and he was able to gain weight again. Bear in mind this kid looked probably like he was 5'5 and 115 lbs at the time. And he was describing what a horrible drug it was and he'd stay up for 70 hrs straight- it was pretty eye opening story.

After he spilled his guts for like 20 minutes everyone in the class was completely silent with that horrified look on our faces- after hearing about petty highschool drama to a pretty terrible story of this kids youth, druggy foster parents and meth.

So just off that kids story I would say yes- meth is as bad as they say.

Wow that story would stay with me forever and i dont think kids in that class would take meth after hearing this. Kids dont ever take hard drugs no matter how cool some people may want to be. Go do some yoga or take boxing depending on your personality.

It's pretty bad, just look at the mug shots of people busted for meth.

I've known people that smoke it and they all had rotten teeth and looked like zombie extras from the walking dead.

Here's a story of how bad it is summed up. I had a friend that got married and when he left on his honeymoon he had one of the guys from our rugby team stay at his place and take care of things. This guy was a beast, about 6'2" roughly 220 lbs of muscle, about 23 years old. None of us saw him at practice about two or three days after he started watching the house. When my friend got back two weeks later his house looked like it had been looted. Both his and his wife's cars were gone, all the furniture was either gone or trashed, even his Chicago Bears memorabilia was all gone. No one knew where the guy that watched the place was. about two weeks after that the guy showed up, he was missing patches of hair on his head, looked like he lost about 30 or so pounds and had sores all over his face and body.
He'd basically gone on a meth bender and sold all their stuff to cover it, including their cars to a chop shop. The reason he showed back up was he got busted giving blowjobs and he called my friend to bail him out. I mean think about this, the guy has basically ruined the guy's life then had the balls to call him to bail him out knowing he would find out he was sucking dick to support a habit. What that shit did to that guy in one month was worse than anything I've ever seen, I've seen coke heads, crackheads, hell I had a roommate that popped xanax like pez and that guy on meth was worst I've ever seen.

It's euphoric. Make no mistake. Especially if you inject it.

In my experience meth heads are absolutely scum of the earth.

It is highly addictive, makes you completely insane and you will do crazy stuff when on it.

We had 2 guys in the back of a patrol car arrested for a bunch of burglary charges. One dude had meth in his prison pocket and was worried he would get in a bunch of trouble for it. So, whole handcuffed in the back of the patrol car he dug it out and his buddy ate it...
Me and my buddy have been close for almost 30 years.... Not a chance in hell I'm eating anything that comes out of his ass. I'm 100% sure he would say the same.
And wtf do you say when u see that kind of thing man. I would probably puke.

I've had friends and family hooked on meth it's no joke stay the fuck away.

Think he got any sympathy pussy?

Think he got any sympathy pussy?

I don't think so. In fact I don't remember seeing that kid maybe a few more weeks after hearing his story and then he disappeared.

Not sure what happened to him.

I'd like to think he went on successfully in life and stay sober but the odds are stacked against him.

That shit is the worst drug you can do. Had multiple friends who killed themselves after getting hooked on it in highschool. Brother was hooked for a bit and would get panicked phone calls from him at 3 am saying that there were people going through his outgoing sewage, people in the back of his truck and could not convince him none of it was real. Fucking terrible drug.
I had a pretty bad habit in my 20's. Stayed up for more than 20 days on more than one occasion. Had severe paranoid hallucinations. Was suicidal, and had friends who killed themselves. Ended up in jail for a little bit, ended up in the mental hospital once, and finally ended up in rehab for a month. It's dangerous shit.

Any sherbros from a part of the country where there is a meth problem, fill me in on what is so bad about it. Is it as bad as people say?? I am from chicago and we dont have meth here so im really cuious to heasome stories. The major problem here is heroin. We've got people here who shoot up and nod off with the kid in the car, not to mention the scores of people who just die as teenages after trying it a few times, and the many who are strung out somewhere on the west side and might as well be dead. I can't imagine an upper being worse than that. Full disclosure: i've done metric tons of cocaine in my life. I'v tried crack once or twice, and didnt think it was that big of a deal. But never, ever, done heroin because of all the destruction i saw as a young kid.

So whats the deal with meth?? As bad as they say, or overblown?

No its perfectly healthy.

I've told the story on here before of my academy instructor and his dealing with a meth head couple.

They are arresting the dopers and doing a house search. They come to a locked bedroom closet door. He asks the doper to open it and the guy says he doesn't know where the key is.

They pry open the door and find a starving kid inside. Kid was like 4 with obvious mental disability, Down Syndrome or something similar. Kid was only wearing a soiled pair of under wear, was chained up and starving, kid had knawed on its own arm to try and get out.

All the instructor remembers was seeing red and grabbing the tweakers neck with both hands and trying to pop the fuckers head off.

His partners later told him it took all of them to pull him off the meth head and that he didn't say anything, just had a thousand yard stare of determination and hatred. Said he didn't remember anything after getting his hands on the dirtbag's throat. He started remembering again when he was sitting outside in a patrol car.

He was a big dude too, former pro NFL running back. Said he never wanted to kill anyone in his life like he wanted to kill that druggie for what they did to the kid.

I've know people who've done once or twice and didn't like or kicked it easy.

I know one person who done it and he just ruined his young adult years from 16-23ish. He had an MMA fight on the first day/ week he did meth.(He did okay considering the circumstances. 16 years old debuting on meth with no sleep for 40 hours versus a 22 year old supposedly on team alpha male.)
He's currently in jail for a probation violation and resisting arrest. He's escaped from the cops on feet and car more than once though haha.

Edit: He's spent around two years incarcerated IIRC. He's due another year currently from what his baby mama says.

Meth is the kind of drug that changes mother fuckers. My cousin chose meth over his gorgeous wife and 2 great young kids. He was successful. He has been in and out of prison for the last 8 years. Always runs right back to the meth. I know a few people that have traded their lives for meth. So, yeah. Its a bad drug.

I have never tried it. However, both my parents were meth users for a large part of my life. I feel like I could write a book about my childhood.

My mom was a heavier user than my dad, but my dad did the craziest shit. He was in and out of jail for petty crimes/fraud (ie - returning stolen Canadian Tire items at other Outlets etc). He once ran over a Cashier that ran out of the store after him (was in the backseat) . Stole one of those gas station vacuums that you pay a dollar to use in your car, to get all the change from it. Our house burnt down when I was about 6 from my mom falling asleep in her bed with a lit cigarette (she blames one of their roomates at the time). My dad used to steal old ford trucks with the triangle window and three in the tree gear shifter. He used to hot wire them. Once on my 7th birthday he pushed me around town for the day in a wheel chair (asked to be pushed around in one for my bday lol) and he tried to steal a truck from a grocery store and the guy came back to his truck in the middle of it all haha
I have stories for days about my meth addicted parents
. Their both clean now and my dad is my best friend. The shit they did is ridiculous while they raised me.

Never done it. Never had the opportunity to. The people that deal with that stuff are subhuman in my eyes and id probably try to kill them if we ever came into contact
