Is Max Holloway the Greatest FW Of All Time?

I personally do believe he’s the greatest FW of all time. I could understand others thinking Conor ( I get it he beat him ) or Aldo are the GOAT at FW. But I can’t give Conor the honor of being the GOAT at FW for never defending his belt once. I don’t Aldo can be considered the best FW ever since he already lost to both. In addition I don’t believe either has the resume at FW that Max does. I mean Max has beaten Jose Aldo(2x), Lamas, Swanson, Pettis, Fili, Oliveira, and Stephens. And all decisively.

It’s easy to win fights when you don’t have a target on your back. But when everyone is gunning for you, when they’re all watching footage of you, when they all want what you have, and you manage to defend the belt over and over, that is the mark of a true champion.

To be the best of the division ever, you need to be the best champion of that division ever. Max is on his way with his first being vs Aldo and if he gets by Ortega, that’s two amazing wins. Get Frankie on the list and it might have to catapult him to the top but, it’s hard to be the best in the division for 10 years in a row.

He's got time to become the best that's for sure. That loss to Conor, although early on, will leave plenty of room for debate when his all time status is brought up.
