He can barely make weight and has missed multiple times. Does this so he can fight smaller men

rda: good win, but couldn’t finish him and did very little damage. I’d like to see a 5 round fight

Barboza: tailormade fight for khabib. The guy literally had no chance.

Al Iaquinta: #11 ranked. Couldn’t finish him. His stand up looked embarrassing. Started to gas in round 3. Stalled for a bit and tried to box

Now he’s the champ? Lol

Come on son. Oh btw mods. There is the exact same thread for mcgregor. Try not to be butthurt

I think he's atleast a little bit overrated forsure and much like Fedor, ton of his wins are against literal cans... khabib is a beast but I dont think he's unbeatable.

25-0 until I don't see that 0 anymore, I'd say he is rated where he should be.

Where is your boy conor at?

He is and he isn't.

He is 26-0 so he's legit. But he hasn't beaten anyone (relatively) in his entire career. Possibly the most padded record ever?

I don't think he's overrated by all. His die-hard fans are annoying af though and he hasn't accomplished as much as their stupid ranting and raving would lead you to believe.

A lot of the top guys get overrated at some point and then underrated afterwards.

First, you don't know what the word literal means.

Second, Fedor has the most impressive hw resume in MMA history. Don't embarrass yourself.

God, you're stupid.

I'm starting to believe that everyone is overrated at some point in their career... then they lose and everyone saw it coming and this and that when in reality few did. Khabib isn't invincible or perfect. There is nothing wrong with him still having something to prove even as champion. I just wish people would appreciate him for what he is instead of trying to knock the guy for what he is not (striker).

How many times has he actually missed weight?

I know the Trujillo fight but that was 5 years ago.

Was he over for the Horcher fight?

Noone can stop his takedown s that simple. If Barboza gets taken down easily at will then who had the tdd to stop him.

He has 4 top 10 wins, so def has not fought nothing but cans. He would have fought Tony for the belt if he had not gotten injured.

Sur ebeats Conor's one and only fight at LW.

The correct answer is yes. Khabib is a WW, and while I predict he would still be good fighting at WW, he probably wouldn't be the undefeated and unbeatable monster people thinks he is. Probably around where Covington is before he gets flat lined by Tyron.

I can agree with that, just as I would imagine Conor would have lost a fight or two at LW had he fought on the regular there

He's 26-0. He beat Al IaQuinta 50-44. His striking looked overrated because Joe Hogan marked out any time Al IaQuinta threw a strike. Khabib was in full control with his jab and said he wanted to conserve energy.

He toyed with Michael Johnson and took his arm. He essentially ended Edson Barboza's career ala Cain did JDS. He 50-45 RDA with ease.

Just about everyone else he has either mauled or smothered.

This thread is number 1 bullshit.

He soundly beat RDA, who is world class - his record otherwise is average at best.

We haven’t seen him against a string of top class opponents, partly through him pulling out, partly because of others pulling out etc.

There are a lot of unanswered questions and Iaquinta added to the speculation.

He is revered by other pro fighters / coaches (even those who have trained with him but aren’t affiliated to his camp) which usually stands for more than the opinion of sherdoggers.

Conor is a FW who never missed weight. Of course, going up two weight classes he already lost a fight. Khabib on the other hand has made weight in like 70-80% of his fights. Khabib would not last at MW.
