Is Khabib fighting Pettis? I’m confused

It does not look like it, Pettis is not going to make weight
 
who knows or even cares at this point? Khabib will probably end up fighting a random street performer the way this is going. If they can find a juggalo he can beat on it will really fit the tone of this event.
 
Ariel just tweeted that Pettis will *not* reweigh in. The deal is not done, fight is in jeopardy

You don't have to make weight to be in a title fight. The person who makes weight becomes eligible the other guy doesn't. Khabib made weight.

Although I'd rather they have Iaquanta in there instead of Pettis, and have Zabit fight Pettis, and Bochniak fight Caceres.

The ufc probublay figured out that pettis might actually have a chance at winning and used that as a way out and needs someone else to throw in vs kahib so they can have kahib defend against Conor when he gets out for a huge PPV gate.

Pettis koing kahib steels that opertunity from them
