I wanna know to I just don't get how someone can look so skinny during weigh ins then next day jacked asf lol smh

H.I.I.T training morning and afternoon 3-4 days per week goes perfectly with strength training. Add that to the "cardio" that's involved with bag work and sparring and it equals "high amount of cardio". Look at a prime Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield as an example.

Lol no one is doing HIIT twice a day 4 days per week. Even if you are on steroids that will negatively impair your recovery.

Most cardio done by MMA fighters and boxers is at low intensity and high volume(roadwork). HIIT has its place but it is usually introduced later. Have you ever heard about periodization?

You can be explosive and natural. Just good genes.

just ask yourself this one question:

was Randy "The Natural" Couture all natty?

If the ufc hype machine doesnt fully back kevin they are making a grave mistake, he might be the only star they can build with condar gone, as it stands the ufc is only neck and neck with bum fights vol 1, the filthy casuals just arent interested

Jesus Christ. How long do you think someone needs to do HIIT to drop body fat and increase explosiveness 3-4 days per week???? The original fucking question had to do with "being lean AND muscular". At the ABSOLUTE MOST, you do HIIT for 20 minutes per session when also trying to maintain muscle mass. That's an ABSOLUTE TOTAL of 40 minutes per day 3-4 days per week during your training camp; 20 minutes in the morning 20 minutes in the afternoon.

Anyone that has ANY idea about maintaining muscle mass while doing cardio knows that "high volume/low intensity" cardio BREAKS DOWN MUSCLE FIBERS. That's SPECIFICALLY why "sprinters" DON'T run "long distance/high volume" and have "muscular" physiques.

Once again, the original response had to do with being lean AND having muscle.
