Is K-pop getting even more popular?

He does have some feminine mannerisms and I thought maybe gay, but read he has a wife. No idea what she looks like.

The band does know what good music sounds like.
One of those androgynous trends right after Shibuya Kei (fricking good era for Japanese music). Kpop is just 25 years behind Kpop, imo. Hyde's wife is a famous singer/actress (Megumi Oishi) and they got kids. Hyde then and the Kpop males now are just in their gay for pay phase. Hyde is an actual musician with talent, so even without L'arc en Ciel, he's still thriving.

I thought it died down, but I guess not. I was just not in the wrong demographic to be exposed to it. My coworkers' daughters are absolutely insane about KPOP Demon Hunters and their crushes are all KPOP guys. Apparently KPop Demon Hunters is the biggest thing ever from Netflix
Yup.

The government planned this out in the 90s with a creative funding initiative. This is the result.

This year's Josie and the pussycats. Or Jem.

Last week 7 of the top 10 on Billboard 100 was Kpop

Best thing flying with Korean Airlines was BTS on the video onboard showing us where the exits were and what we had to look forward to food wise.

K-pop is sterile, soulless, and way too commercialized. If people like it, its their business, but I cannot enjoy it at all. It just feels dead from the very beginning. Noone was excited making those songs apart from the producers counting money.

I hardly have the slightest clue what K-pop is. Maybe a cereal, or maybe music? Let me google it.......

I guess its like the "New kids on the block", but Korean?

it's always been popular from the early 2000s but there's peak periods with popular groups such as 2NE1, Girls Generations, BlackPink, BTS and now K-Pop demon hunter
