Is Justin Way too Sloppy?

Ilia knocks him out more than likely. Justin has always been this way and is only getting closer to 40 years old which isn't helping him.

Skilled boxers like Max or Ilia turn Justin into a punchers chance kinda guy.

I always thought that, and he smoked a 'technical striker' like Fiziev two times so.. theres that.

yeah but Fiziev is small and can't consistently clear distance. he should've destroyed Bahamondes. but just by being tall, it made Fiziev very hesitant. Bahamondes had no jab, and no real ability to keep Fiziev back. he never punished Fiziev for coming in, he never gave a consistent weapon that would deter Fiziev, all he was is tall and that alone kept Fiziev on the outside and even made Fiziev shoot on him multiple times. like how can you win vs better competition if you refuse to come forward consistently when you're small and the other guy is nowhere near as good as you?

Justin basically exploited this by moving laterally and jabbing. half the time Gaethje would DROP HIS HANDS as he jabbed and Fiziev still couldn't do shit. somebody like Jean Silva is also small, but he would've countered the shit out of Gaethje's lazy jabbing. why? because he can clear the distance and he's not going to be deterred by just the "threat" of something coming back you have to actually show him the threat.

I don't think the uppercuts landed. Does look declined. Don't fight Topturio. Guaranteed cte. They are all ducking Arman. Arman vs Ilia. Not eldery people sacrifices. The young Lions be fair fight each other. Don't be cowards.

People don’t understand rolling punches. Justin gets hit but he’s always rolling away then catches people coming in with haymakers. It’s “punch for punch” but when they say “he doesn’t look hurt” it’s because he’s not. He has elite head movement

Max is arguably one of the best strikers in the ufc if you have a “punchers chance” you’re doing pretty good

Is it very possible Ilia catches him? For sure. But does Ilia eat the shots that Paddy ate tonight? Not sure about that.
Ilia has much sharper boxing/striking defense than Paddy and eats shots when he doesn't respect his opponents power and walks them down (Max, etc.). Against Emmett, who has freakish power, Ilia used a high guard/Philly shell to keep himself defensively sound, counterpunch and piece him up. I think Ilia stays fundamentally sound and either catch and finish Justin or cruised to a five round decision win.

He can fight cleaner, but his special trait is his ability to take a punch to land a punch.

He ducks 90% to his right side in a weird stance.
If you jab + kick to his chest on the same side, you would catch him a lot.
Feints and left showel hooks would work as well.

That being said he does roll with them, that's correct. That's how he was able to take 150 punches from Paddy with just a light swelling.
And only being hurt like 3 times. That and Paddy having below average power.
Paddy's offensive boxing was actually way better than ever. He just looked shitty, because he had his best opponent by a lot so far.
