Is Justin Way too Sloppy?

First off congratulations to Justin and good on him for beating paddy.

But realistically i think both Armen and Ilia wipe the floor with Justin.

I really don’t want to make this a hate thread because Justin is great and always entertaining and for the money that’s what you want.

But I feel it’s odd how a guy could be working with Trevor Wittman a good boxing coach and still be so stuck in the mud.

He just kind of walked forward and ate uppercuts.

Now of course Justin probably tasted Paddy’s power and didn’t think much of it, but it’s a worrying sign when or if he fights ilia or Arman.

I know it’s not revolutionary to say Justin is a little sloppy but I feel it’s a downgrade lately from his beatdown of Tony.

He was much tighter against a dangerous striker like Fiziev. I think he just threw haymakers because he knew Paddy's striking was dogshit.

Gaethje's striking has always been all over the place, he tends to fight to the level of his opponents somewhat.

He showcased great defense against Fiziev, but his head-movement here was obviously pretty bad lol

I think he just didnt respect paddy at all. He was hunting for the knockout from the start. Imo he wouldnt do that against ilia or armen. Hes got a punchers but thats it. Both arman and Ilia finish him in 1 round imo. Theyre young, fast, and skilled.

Is it very possible Ilia catches him? For sure. But does Ilia eat the shots that Paddy ate tonight? Not sure about that.

This is a good point the Fizeiv fight was much better technically.


Obviously you can only have so much head movement in a sport like MMA but he just sort of stands there with a static guard.

Wow so you're saying the guy with the most submissions in UFC history and one of the highest ground games in UFC history choked out Gaethje after dropping him when he was already Khabib the GOAT's sloppy seconds?

I guess that means Gaethje sucks at grappling to only have two submission losses in whole career to two of the best grapplers in UFC history.
