no. He did not fail for cocaine. It's not prohibited out of competition. Even besides that the whole cocaine debacle was before USADA

it's really unfortunate but at this point it looks like jones is going to become a cautionary tale for up and coming superstars, "don't pull a jon jones, keep your shit together or you'll wind up like him". probably could have gone down as the all time GOAT and now it's looking more and more like he might not even fight again.

All failed test are taken into account when punishment is handed down. I hope I am wrong but according to the guidelines that is what he is facing.
 
He'll probably be the first to get the 2 year ban. I feel jones, mendes, and machida should all get the 2 year ban we were promised.

Read the whole article even failed test out of competition are taken into account when another violation occurs
