Tonight really cemented his legacy as an all time great for me. So many phenomenal calls. He's transcended the sport itself and became bigger then the fights he commentates, he's a highly intellectual cultural icon who is extremely multifaceted. Never before has there been a sports broadcaster with such a multidimensional set of skills.
His podcast is the best radio show in the world where he consistently has great interviews with top quality guests, he's a absolutely hilarious stand up comedian selling out shows world wide and on top of everything his color commentary is exquisite.
You can literally pair this guy with anyone and he just shines. He was great with Goldie, amazing with DC, AWESOME with Cruz and now phenomenal with Smith. The guy's very aura just creates chemistry and he's a legend for it.
He's also incredibly non biased. I love how he's able to put his personal opinion on fighters aside and just give a grounded opinion of what's going on, never using hyperbole. I've never seen this type of quality broadcasting before where he's on point with literally everything he says I definitely think it's time to accept him as the greatest sports commentator of all time, but he's risen so much more above that. He's the face of the UFC and a larger then life hero
