is it "wrong" to sleep with a married person?

they took the vows not you
I’ve hooked up with several women who had boyfriends or fiancés, no married women. I figured if it wasn’t me, they would be cheating on their partner with somebody else. I doubt I compelled them to cheat through virtue of being vow-breakingly attractive; a person who’s gonna cheat is gonna cheat and someone who won’t, won’t. It weighs less on my conscience than when I was the one breaking my word.

For the most part, yeah, it's wrong. Plenty of single people out there, no need to contribute to the pain or demise of someone else's relationship. On top of that, who wants that kind of drama in their life? Seems like an easy way to get stabbed or shot.

It's not cool. Don't be that loser that can't find a single broad/bro. If you must resort to being a home wrecker because they are so desperate to smash anything that's walks, it doesn't say much about you.

how? lets say best case scenerio the cheater never gets caught and you dont tell a soul. then how does it lead to violence?

If significant other does find out somehow and is crazy.

I'm not saying not to do it, but I don't know. I think it's a potentially messy situation laced with guilt for the cheater and emotionally a taxing thing.

I'd stay clear personally but hey to each their own

why would they do that if you never tell anyone or pressure them to leave their spouse? trouble happens when the third party wants more commitment from the cheater.

it has nothing to do with not being able to find a single guy. youre free to date other people and screw a married person too since theyre married afterall and it will go nowhere.

let me redefine the question.

if the guy is a cheater and going to cheat on his wife whether with you or not is it wrong to let them cheat with you?
cheating is always wrong unless the two scenarios I said before are happening

It's wrong and it's NEVER worth the trouble.

I know of a guy (and I'm NOT making this up) who had his head chopped off by a jealous husband. Did it in broad daylight. Took the head to his wife and threw it into her lap as she was in hospital with complications from birth.

Who's baby was it?

??????

If you do it, you're rolling the dice.

They'll find out.

They always do...

i know guys been cheating like 6 straight years on girl and they never find out. i found that girls are very reluctant to dump guys that buy them expensive presents and lie profusely.

One of the girls i work with is basically the girl of my dreams but shes married. I made a comment once like "too bad you're married" and she smiled and after that would always sit next to me in the break room and ask for me by name when shed need our department. Walking out of work together she asks me if i wanna grab a drink so i do. She made it very obvious what she wanted but i just couldnt do it. Maybe if i didnt work with her. She seriously like the perfect woman to me

Trouble happens when the person who was cheated on finds out someone else is having sex with who they think is their soulmate. It's extremely personal and intimate. It's not going out for a dinner, it's sex. That makes people see red. Sure, people get away with it all the time, but this is the information age, and if you're talking about another woman keeping track of her man? Forget about it.

Did you ever see the Chris Rock special about how men get caught with porn by their wives? The most common way is because they leave the tape in the VCR. Jealousy makes people do crazy things.

@Banchan as long as you don't bring drama, stds or hairy crotches, I can promise the same plus no chance of getting pregnant.

I'm gonna say that if you believe in the sanctity of marriage then it probably is a bit wrong. You're kind of cheating yourself. If you don't then have at it. Personally, I don't so I do. ;)

Welp... I can understand why she was reaching out to another guy. She was doing the right thing.

If it happened to me, violence would be an absolute guarantee. Brutal violence.

Why?

It's not the guys fault! He's doing what was offered.

I understand the fury towards the woman but no need for violence. Gotta be happy you discovered true character and salvage what years you have left being single or looking elsewhere.

Move on.
