In europe alot of fighters wear their sponsors as temporary paint on their bodies, i'm wondering if there is a rule against this in the new Reebok UFC?

It's not allowed in the UFC anymore, and the ban includes getting spray tanned and buzzing a logo into your hair or chesthair.

Probably not allowed. It's the UFC's broadcast and they have the right to show what is broadcasted on their show. I doubt they'd allow it if not approved beforehand.

CM Punk has a pepsi logo

That was an actual tattoo however, and it wouldn't surprise me if it would be blurred out slightly in repeat viewings, obviously not live though on the PPV.

It’s been a rule LONG before Reebok.

Advertisers/sponsor needed to be approved and needed to pay the UFC.

The ink shit in Europe is horrible and degrades the sport. I’m fine with normal vetted sponsors (no dick pills or gambling or crypto coin scams) on clothes with no tax though.

It has more to do with the Commission disapproval. Ricco Rodriguez HW title fight was almost cancelled last minute because he had GoldenPalace.com on his back against Randy Couture. Boxers used to do it but because of the grappling aspect of MMA could get into eyes of fighters etc..

Why would anybody be unsatisfied with Reebok payouts?

I’m sure that Ex-lax would love to sponsor Justine Kish if that was allowed.

Very true, UFC fighters have NEVER been able to have whatever sponsors they choose. Every sponsor had to be approved before hand.

For a long time they could have however they wanted. Condom Depot, etc. Stupid ink and shaving was okay.

Then the UFC started vetting in-ring sponsors and those sponsors had to be approved AND pay the UFC a tax, IIRC $50k. No ink or shaving.

Then Reebok turned up and nobody could be a sponsor at the event except Reebok and companies sponsoring the event, not fighter sponsoring companies.

As kids, one of our standard disses was "smooth move, Ex Lax". I hadn't thought of that in years, thanks for the reminder.
