Is it me or is Joe Martinez much better than Buffer?

He is 100% the better announcer. He pronounced names correctly (Buffer will butcher a name every so often) and has a more traditional combat sports announcer tone and cadence.

But to Buffer's credit, I do think he gives the biggest fights that little extra edge of excitement. When it comes to major fights like McGregor, Khabib, Jones etc I'd prefer to hear Buffer do the introductions.

Michael C Williams is absolutely terrible. He....always....says...things...withbig...gaps.

The BRAVE and UAE Warriors announcers are good though and of course the Russian Buffer.

But Bruce will always be GOAT for me, I think the most important thing is you can tell the fighters absolutely love being introduced by Buff.

I do prefer him nowadays. Buffer’s shtick is played out.

This is exactly how I feel. Bruce was and still is good, but there comes a time.

Buffer is better. But the way Martinez introduces Eryk Anders as "Ya Boi" always gets me going.
