Is it just me or does Noche UFC feel like a PPV?

Is this basically a free PPV?

They have a press conference. A title is on the line. They didn’t have an embedded but they did a UFC Journey. It’s in Vegas in T Mobile

And the UFCis actually being creative with the promotion. A custom belt, calling Noche UFC
I agree. I believe this was done intentionally to essentially give one back to the Mexican fan base since that Cinco De Mayo card fell apart.

I could have a brain condition, but I believe the UFC was attempting to do a big Cinco de Mayo PPV this year in Mexico/New Mexico and it fell apart for whatever reason. Ended up being the 288 card in Newark* with Cejudo and Aljo.

Valentina hasn't been a headliner in any of her bouts, she's been used to comain ppvs due to not being a draw. Also Holland vs JDM is the only other fight on the card that would even be pp worthy. It's a solid fight night.

A single PPV worthy fight (Val) on the card...

That's gonna be a no from me.

This weekend is Mexican Independence Day so that would make sense

The UFC definitely could have made this a weak PPV like they have done so in the past.

def more promotion than a typical fight night but not good enough card for a PPV.

maybe if UFC put all Mexican fighters they have it could have been.

Cejudo, Suarez, Cruz, isnt Ferg Mexican American? I know Kelvin got hurt. What about yanez? Moreno etc.

This card could have been stacked. also doing it in Vegas is meh, if not Mexico then Texas, somewhere near they boarder would have made more sense.

even when UFC does something new and different its still like half-assed it feels.

I voted yes, in that its arguably better than last PPV on the whole. Ideally though Grasso vs Shev would have been co-main at UFC 293, the better fights here added, and take a break this week.

After seeing Makdessi's taxes though I'm not surprised UFC 293 was so shit.
