Is Henri Hooft the most overrated striking coach in MMA?

The only bad thing I will say about henri is that he stuck around Mike's gym too long and adopted his style. Which is very much head hunting with some low kicks. He should have stayed around hoost. But I wouldn't say overrated.

I think the best teacher to teach mma fighters the Dutch style is carbin. He is probably the most diversed and evolved coach

Honestly I think Mike's style is better suited to MMA than Hoosts, less dependant on the big gloves for sucess.

You wouldnt call Hoofts fighters the most diverse technical strikers but as aggressive MMA boxers with dangerous highkicks I think he's done pretty well. I the issue I'd say is that the fighters themselves need a good degree of natural ability, if you don't have fast reactions and good agility Hooft's style isnt likelty to suit you.

I prefer Trevor Wittman or the trainer at ATT.

Ah yes, the improvements Rockhold made under Hooft were impressive.

The Pit's John Hackleman fighters of yesterday can probably beat anyone at Sanford mma right now.
