glover was chucks training partner back in the day, do you think glover beats prime chick?
 
Glover has mainly lost to drug cheats if we’re being honest. I’m not sure who beats him if it’s an even playing field.
 
Glover is definitely the better top to bottom fighter. But chuck was some hard to take down in his prime, had a granite chin despite the late career memes of him getting ko'd all the time, and had a nuclear right hand. Would be a tough call.
 
Yes because glover is still fighting and winning today.

Today's mma is better skill wise then chucks day.

Chucks era you can be a specialist in one aspect of mma and avg in others. The guys today are well versed everywhere. THe guys also cut better and are bigger.

Chuck is probably a mw in today's mma. Guys like Costa, Vetorri, Forest Whitaker, Cannoir and Izzy at mw all beat him

I see where you are coming from but I disagree because I think the latest ruleset favors one-dimensional wrestlers / grapplers. You were judged more on damage and would get stood up quicker than now. It's almost like trying to compare quarterbacks of today versus yesteryear. You can't even breathe on a quarterback without drawing a flag when back then, you could pick one up and dump him on his head well after he has released the ball. So a "Prime Chuck" (not Wagyu Chuck) would fare pretty well under today's rules. There would be almost no takedowns of Chuck to get the cheap points and you weren't going to knock him out either with the pitter-patter that comes from Today's lightweights. He threw everything with bad intentions and today, most guys are focused on points.

Prime Chuck does well in any era.
 
Glover would beat Chuck. Better cardio and cleaner hands. I think Chuck would be able to keep it standing but get worked everywhere else.

Different times and different eras
 
Chuck was faster, better chin. Stronger TDD.

Glover is a better overall grappler and much better defensively on the feet.

Would've definitely been a fun fight to see.

every body has been well versed for a long time. A specialist will always be better than a few exceptions. It has never been a mystery since 94
Look at the champions. Even in wmma all specialists. Who learned other things over time
 
Bizarrely, I think Chuck gets creamed in today's LHW division but beats Glover in a 1 V 1 fight.
205 is weird.
 
Gloved doesn't want to fuck Chuck the same way Wanderlei wanted to though.
