its just a bad combo of a guy who likes to blitz in and an opponent who frequently fouls because of knee jerk reactions / bad habits.

i dont think alex or izzy ever got eye poked? probably because they understand distance management and don't blitz in like a dummy. Regardless of what you think about jones, he had excellent distance management... he did poke others, but never got poked himself.
