Seeing how it's the most dangerous weightclass when it comes to 1 punch KO's, experience really shines through seeing how old the top of the HW division is in general, compared to other division (Although Miocic is relatively young compared to Werdum how also has a strong experience game)

Cardio and Wrestling. It makes all the difference, DC and Stipe showed tonight how lethal a background and platform to build your MMA game on Wrestling is. Some of the more dominant fighters we've seen started out with a grappling base of some kind.

You got to have it all.

Stipe rolled these bombs like a boss in the first, and still barely made it out. And he needed all his reflexes and experience to get the W.

Aside from Fedor, who had unmatched skill and natural abilities, Stipe and Cain have the best skill set for heavyweight. Wrestling, striking, cardio, and a decent chin. Even still, it is pretty damn hard to avoid getting a loss at the big weight division.
