The style, the technique, the way he gasses himself out on purpose after the first round to set his breathing for the remaining of the fight, studying the judges who are judging his fight. Even the trash talking.

He would absolutely destroy Paige VanZant on DWTS.
 
It looks like he is almost downloaded all of the Matrix files.
 
Ultimately MMA is entertainment and so regardless if he's a genius or not, he's a boring fighter
 
I'm not speaking to his all time rank or anything, but his fights really look like he's playing chess and his opponents are playing checkers.
 
Well if by genius you meant...despite gassing hard, was still able to pick faber apart, make faber tentative to come in...can't mount any significant offense because of footwork, handspeed and takedown defense, then yes, he is a genius.

Very smart, actually. Certain judges have their biases so he might factor that into his gameplan and use the information to decide how much effort he's going to exert and in what areas. More evidence of him being a point fighter, though.
 
When will people start considering him the best P4P fighter. Love mighty mouse but Cruz resume is much better.

If I were to rank resumes among champions, #1 would be Jon Jones and #2 would be Cruz. He should get more love for P4P best.
