after the brief grieving stage following the Francis fight, I think Dana has given Stipe TUF and DC in hopes to promote what he has finally realized as his heavyweight GOAT.

He knows a lot of MMA media and entertainment already consider Stipe the greatest heavyweight in MMA history. He knows Stipe is going to beat DC, another all time great light-heavy and heavyweight. He knows Stipe is upset about his earning power and perceived disrespect in the Francis promotion.

He's doing his best to appease Stipe while also giving him a promotional push fitting for a GOAT.

To add to this, for anybody who thinks DC won’t have a chance at all, people tend to forget that DC was a savage at heavyweight he KO’d Bigfoot before it was cool and he legit slammed Josh Barnett

And this was well over 5 years ago and DC has improved leaps and bounds since then, I’m not saying he is going to be able to work Stipe or not but for anybody to go out and say DC has no chance is this fight is just down right asinine truly.

altho i always believed and still believe Ngannau is a legit prospect i always thought Stipe would win their fight. Ngannau has the talent to do great thgings but just isnt there yet. DC on the other hand has proven to be amongst the verry best competitors at both lhw en hw.
