Is Cyborg another Ronda Rousey?

I don't understand how Ronda gets hated on because she fights "cans" yet Cyborg does the same in a lower level promotion while making them fight above their natural weightclass, Holly would dust Cyborg because she's a terrible match up for her.

Nobody will dust cyborg. She could win a competitive fight though.

Skill wise, I still kind of look at like early days of the UFC. More so the WBW division than the SW division. As in its gonna evolve at some point, and as of now it's more specialist's that succeed. But that's just my opinion.

Judging by the Baars fight Cyborg would lose to Holly but still be somewhat competitive.

She can certainly land good strikes and keep her own in the clinch.

Man, I really wish Cyborg would step up to the UFC and show how overrated she actually is. It's sad seeing how many people truly believe the hype based on her can crushing. She would probably beat most of the women in the UFC granted, but a few of them would give her a tough fight, some may beat her, Holly would smoke her, and Ronda would likely outgrapple her too. She isn't this devastating monster she's made out to be.

The fight with Baars- you could call it competitive, but realistically it was a schooling. Yes, it was kickboxing and not MMA, and she was up against a world champion- but that's what we're talking about with Holm. You really think Cyborg would be able to implement her bullrushing against someone like Holm? Not a chance in hell.

Cyborg looks unstoppable due to her massive size advantage against undersized opponents. Give her a legitimately skilled opponent with comparable size and she's done for, that's it.

Not talking about media coverage or popularity.
But rather one-dimensional dominance in WMMA.

It seems that Ronda and Cyborg have been able to maul her opponents repeatedly for so long due to the subpar fighting skills of their opponents. Even though both fighters are very one-dimensional, it is still enough to defeat most WMMA fighters.

Would a fight against someone with good grappling, good takedown defense, precise striking, and good head/foot movement make Cyborg look as bad as Rousey did when she fought Holly?

Is Cyborg a one-dimensional fighter that will be left in the dust if WMMA fighters evolve and become more well-rounded?

What is needed in WMMA for fighters like Cyborg or Ronda to become a thing of the past?

Nah. Cyborg has a good all around game

BJJ - Brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Submission grappling - 7-1 record
Two times IBJJF World Jiu-Jitsu Champion
Bronze at ADCC

Standing - Black kruang in Muay Thai.
Kickboxing - was in a war against Jorina Baars

That's a far cry more accomplished than Ronda's Olympic Judo accolades IMHO.
