Is Conor going to dominate the LW division?

I don't see Gaethje being much of a threat to Conor and the current RDA is a couple of years too late to give Conor any real challenge
Feguson might have the biggest chance from OP's list of names just because of his insane chin and cardio
. Nate was able to successfully push the pace twice against Mcgregor, I think Ferguson can too. But we might have to look and see how well he's recovered from the absoloute brutal beating he took from Justin after cutting weight twice.

You talk like Conor is this still active fighter actually duking it out in the division. Truth is Conor as never fought actively in the division got air dropped into a championship fight against a 1st time champ then ran off to fight at comfort weight 170 because working your body down to 155 takes too much discipline. These aren't 2016 lw's or 2016 anymore and the Conor you talking about beating on all these guys is a fantasy Conor wants to beat one foot out the cage door fighters agreeing to fight Dustin deserves props a actual current in the game fighter.

considering how ferguson reacted to gaethje's jab, mcgregor will KTFO ferguson pretty easily

This is the fifth round. Conor doesn't have Gaethje's cardio, so he can't do that after the second round.

Eh price is a can and Pettis is pretty faded as well.
Pettis is still ranked #12 in the world at WW and Price is tough fight for anyone. Cowboy looked bad against Conor, because Conor performed so good. Deal with it

Nate has 9 fights as WW, 1 at 160 catch weight and missed weight 2 times at LW. No one in current LW top15 has a bigger frame than him. He’s also 190-200 out of camp. Nate was a weight class bigger than Conor, that’s a fact.
Nate weighed 169
Conor weighed 168.

Neither guy was a real WW. Just 2 LWs that didn't wanna cut weight. Nate has height on Conor, nothing else. That's a fact.

Ever heard of weight cutting? Do you actually think Nate weight was 169 on fight night? Nate was easily 185+ there

Conor get's a lot of flak and in most cases they're well deserved, but I don't see any problem with Conor making weight at 155 and staying disciplined when he was cutting incredible amount of weight to make 145 for years. He also fought Khabib, Alvarez as you've stated and Mayweather at 155 lbs.

Also, these are 2016 lightweights. Specially the ones mentioned, Ferguson, Porier, RDA,Gaethje are all UFC vets that have been around way before 2016 even.

Again, it would be ludicrous and just plain silly for anyone to count out the lightweight's top five against Conor, but with Khabib out of the picture Conor's path back to champion status is a lot more clearer.

Nate missed weight one time, vs RDA

So he cut below the weight limit for the fuck of it? Just cut more weight than necessary just cause eh? Well, that doesn't make sense.

So Conor weighed 168 in the cage but Nate didn't weigh 169? Let me guess, Nate weighed 260 and Conor weighed 165? lol

FACT: They were both small WWs.

If only Dustin fights without having any idea who Conor is, and not preparing himself to Conor's skills accordingly. That might be the case in their first fight, but at this point, there is no way a fighter can fight without knowing Conor's explosiveness in the first two rounds, then Conor will gas out, so he should follow a good game plan.

The whole Conor gassing out narrative is blown out way out of proportion in my opinion. Conor slows down but nothing near as drastic as say, the Ngannou vs Stipe fight. In both Nate Diaz fights, Conor kept on chugging despite being exhausted.
I doubt Porier could take the same shots Nate did, but then again, Porier is much more defensively sound than Nate.

Knowing what your opponent is going to do and being able to do anything about it are two different things. The question now would be, has Porier closed the gap in their striking to implement and follow through with a gameplan?

That 2016 Conor was still hungry, hungry for money and now that he's got all that money I don't see much discipline just a guy looking for easy fights again he gets prop for taking on Dustin.

You right these current lw's are pretty much the 2016 lw's accept they all have been actively fighting iron sharpening sharpening iron and still very much hungry, Conor not so much.

Which is why I think the rematch is very very interesting. Dustin has improved drastically since they last met, however Conor hasn't been stagnating either and Conor's style is just a nightmare for Porier.

I'm sorry I saw nothing <SelenaWow> about beating on Cowboy, no disrespect to Cowboy but he's far from the Cowboy of old.

Then why did he weigh 160 pounds for a LW title fight?
Your screen shot also says that Franca missed weight. It is incorrect. Franca vs Diaz was for the WEC LW title.. They both made weight and the title fight was official.

Go watch the video for that fight on Fight Pass. Nate was 160 and Hermes 158
