Now that Khabib is gone and Conor seems to be back to his fighting ways, is he going to be a dominant champ?

The odds of that happening are looking great. LW division now mostly consists of strikers who don’t match well with Conor.

Gaethje
Poirier
Tony
Hooker

would all be likely KOed on the feet against Conor.

Chandler isn’t elite enough and is too small to ragdoll Conor.

RDA struggled with Felder, so I don’t think he can hold down Conor. Conor smokes him in stand up.

Who poses the biggest threat for Conor? I guess someone like Kevin Lee or Islam have the best chance to defeat him. Wrestle heavy gameplan is the only way to fight Conor. Although they need to climb the rankings first

What about his performance against Cowboy?
Thats quite normal for cowboy these days. Ether he's koed early in the 1st or its a war. He has anxiety, and both conor and gaethje knew to take advantage.

Conor back to his fighting ways??? I should have stopped right there.

NO!

1-1 against Nate Diaz, the win being a majority decision win

Tony Ferguson would be easily KO'd!!!

Placing Nate correctly in the mix gives us the truth as to where Conor really stands in the ratings.
Just looking at Diaz last two fights tells us everything; assuming Conor is thereabouts on par with Diaz for sake of argument, they are both a level above Pettis but a level below Masvidal.
Who at 155 is Masvidals level? I would suggest Gathje and Ferguson are that equal level, but that doesn’t necessarily equate to an easy win versus a Conor or Diaz, however it puts things into perspective.

We haven’t seen Conor shine since Alvarez.
Ummm he only fought twice since then LOL. One he lost to Khabib the other he finished Cerrone within a minute....and yeah I know Cerrone is past his prime but he beat him in a much more impressive fashion than Justin or Tony did in Cerrones previous two fights.

Conor isnt fighting more than 2 or 3 more times likely and is no where near hungry like he was.

If things go perfect Conor will beat Dustin then beat Gathje/Chandler...... after he likely starts asking for an calling out Khabib for a final fight........ Conor in his last fight and Beeb to get his 30 -0 . That would be an epic finish.

I do not know.

Well Khabib is not officially gone yet. The belt is not vacant, he's still in the USADA testing pool, and he's still in the rankings. Otherwise, I don't think we have enough of a sample size to know how well conman will be able to compete at 155. He's only had 2 fights in the weight class. One an impressive win, the other a devastating loss. The rest of his recent fights have been against journeymen at 170. The Porier fight should give us a good idea as to where he stands.
