It's simple. The UFC can put on a show and make money without Conor. And is doing so a few times each month. Conor can't make money in MMA without the UFC though. So, how in the holy hell can Conor be bigger than the UFC?

some say so, because people seem to talk about him and want to see him more than any UFC events without him, or any other fighters. but that doesn't really mean anything. it's just a saying. it's like saying "to be the champ you have to defend the belt". totally meaningless. but if you want to repeat it, sure. people on ESPN have said it. people on forums have said it. so you won't be alone. and don't let the fact it's a meaningless statement stop you.
