Just a thought...

Colby speaks shit to Nick.
Nick responds. Colby destroys him with comments.
Nick is angry and finally wants to fight.
Colby has "sinuses" issue.

IF Colby REALLY succeeds to get Nick back in the octagon to fight him then he is a genius.

(I think Colby is smart regardless, a douchebag but smart).

Look at the attention he gets lol

Funny what passes for a thought these days.

I think I pick up what you're getting at here.
Yeah, he's probably smart. He definitely looks like someone who might appear in smart films. That eyebrow shaping thing is definitely a little "smart"

he gets attention from sherdog and the surrounding mma community but I have an honest question here, is he a draw? setting him up as a co-main even seems like a stretch if he's not fighting for a belt.

He leans conservative, so yeah, I'd say he's mildly retarded.

Not really. His fight style isn’t fan friendly. He’s smart enough to know attention and hype help a career and that there are different ways to get attention.

Nick and Nate only like to fight outside of the cage for free these days.

But the King of Brazil always knows what he is doing. Colby knows how to start a fire in snowflake's panties. I call that winning. For someone with marginal fighting abilities, he knows how to get a buzz going.

Presumably he's not getting any PPV money once stripped of the interim title. Its unlikely his contract has a provision for PPV money outside of the belt. So what good does fighting Nick instead of Woodley do for his bottom line?

The more likely scenario is 91 days is a fairly rare and extremely fast turnaround time for 5 round title fights, and he wanted another month or two to prepare.

Unfortunately for him, Till is ready and willing. The only thing that irks me about it is he didn't make weight in his last fight and is getting rewarded for it.

Colby is smart for a man who is half way to full down syndrome.
