Colby has inherited traits from both Matt and Chael, notably
- The ability to say things that completely turn people off or enrage an entire country and its population
- Overestimates his own talent based off of a strong wrestling base and had the tendency to go third person when discussing himself.
- Has had success and notoriety due to shallowness of middle elite talent in his weight class, thus making him and his ramblings relevant.
- Subpar striking skills to an almost awkward and seemingly uncomfortable execution of stand up.
- Ability to use web based social media to increase viewership by means of becoming must see to MMA fans tuning in to see him lose.
- Being able to talk himself into fights that aren’t consistent with his skill level.
- Having idealism that would suggest a childhood of “alt-right” entitlement and insular upbringing.
