His record which 16 wins and 8 losses to me is not that exceptional considering he was a MW champion and defended it 3x.

But I honestly think he's better than what reflects on his record.

At his best he was an absolute elite monster of a fighter.

He was beating Jacare, Mousasi and doing very well vs Luke and Yoel until he just lost to all of them.

Silva and Vitor were old but he beat a still very good Machida. That solidified him for me.

Lame that we waited out Vitor till it was no longer interesting.

I think he would beat Bisping, Kennedy, Sonnen, maybe gets KOed by Hendo. Maybe beats Franklin, Marquardt and Bustamante. Comparing him to the ATG MWs

Honestly who did Franklin ever beat ?

Chris had his run. 4 titles. Lost a lot of steam. MW was the most stacked division. Was. And never again.

Crow
Rivera
Okami
Tanner 2x
Wanderlei 2x
Chuck
Shamrock
Eastman

Are all good wins
I wouldn't call Chuck a good win. He was put out by a punch he wouldn't have felt in his prime and he still hurt Rich and broke his arm

If a fighter sticks around long enough, eventually they will pay the piper and Weidman was no different.

That said, He was the guy who got to end Silva's reign, that's pretty much as good as it gets. So good, bad, whatever.... It's irrelevant.

The Chris is subject to a lot of unwarranted hatred because he knocked Anderson’s block off…

Iz normal.

He was once elite tho but the weight cut eventually took its toll.
