I don't get why people that fight as little as she and cain, don't just retire...obviously your body can't handle the stress of training for a fight...jsut retire and do other things...
 
Damn she fights once a year since 2008. Except 2010, that year was a glitch in the matrix and she fought 3 times.
 
Her and cain made a bet over who can fight the least amount of times over a 5 year period

I agree. But to not be able to get back to work regularly seems not normal. Especially to show her kid. Look. Momma can fight and dad taught me a lot of this. But she was never a busy fighter. So just seems like she is not into it.

As stated in the OP, she only fights once a year. This is nothing new.

Also she gets out of shape between every fight.

You wont see much more of her, especially if she loses her next fight...if she fights again.

She'll have a story or two to tell her grandkids while sifting through her collection of selfies throughout the years.

You have to look at the big picture with her and analyze what is working in her favor; probably makes 50/50 if not more on the fight side I am guessing plus the Reebok funds. Is she also still involved in the Zingano Jiu Jitsu schools for revenue? She does announcing here and there, seminars and speaking engagements, fight related sponsorships. She also lived in Colorado and maybe still maintains a house there or sold and cashed out to go to San Diego. She was also listed for net worth some time ago at or around 1.5 to 2 million dollars so at 7.5 % a year you can withdraw 135,000 or so cash which is substantial 11K per month to fund your lifestyle.
 
Maybe she'll fight twice in 2018?
