Last names dont really matter. I have a last name that has 0 to do with my race or heritage .

Do white people still pay for genealogy tests even though they're 3rd and 4th generation Americans with 0 connection to their supposed heritage?

Oh yes. And then when they discover some 1/32th on their neighbor's side of anything not Northern European, they start identifying as brown or whatever.
