Is Burger King trolling Conor?

Lmao at people thinking he made millions for that ad.

Actually ... it apparently works something like this.

Conor has some 22 million social media followers (instagram). If 5% of just his followers (a standard conversion estimate that marketing companies use for these types of deals) goes to BK and buys just 1 "Conor sandwich" once, at an average price of 5 dollars per meal, that is something like 5500000 earnings from this campaign for BK. But of course people usually will buy more than once, the campaign will last for some time and go across other media like TV etc, he also seems to have quite active followers so probably a higher engagement than the standard 5% ... so literally tens of millions of revenue from BK.

Therefore, for sure he got a seven figure salary for the campaign! Celebs with 10+ million followers get six figures just for frequent product placements in posts sometimes, without TV campaigns and a dedicated product. I don't work in the field but I have friends who do and they think Conor took home something between 1-3 million depending how long the campaign will run.

5% conversion rate? No way.

Conor is moving from being famous for being a fighter to being famous for being famous. Next he dumps his grumpy gf and get himself a Kardashian sister or another B level celeb whore.

5% sounds VERY high & you are not figuring in cost, etc in earnings, but Conor certainly made 7 figures.
Commercials pay major bank.

Dude it doesn't work like that lmao.

They aren't going to pay millions for a mma fighter, famous people get paid 20k+ for a days work on ads not 3 millions, actors wouldn't make movies.

God you can't be this fucking retarded.

I remember my marketing friends talking about 5% ... but maybe was 1.5% or something else with "5" :D ... I might have the percentage wrong ... however the final calculation they made was definitely for a 1-3 million pay for him depending on the campaign duration and number of countries involved. They said it was standard, nothing special, there are far more lucrative endorsements someone like Conor can have - and might already - like long-term deals with clothing brands to feature across his social media, advertising campaigns, live events, etc, although I imagine Reebok might be preventing him from signing anything like that for now.

A totally unknown model, just off agency books, for a national campaign (not international and not with his/her multi-million people social media following) being the protagonist of a TV ad gets 20-40k between day rates and image rights for the airing of the campaign.

A big celebrity gets six figures for multiple product placements in Instagram.

These are facts, I personally know fortunate people in both of the above situations.

PS: Usain Bolt (under 20 million social media followers, less than Conor surprisingly) earned 30 million dollars last year only from advertising and endorsements.

Why else would you have a guy who hasn’t fought mma in over a year and who has never defended a belt promoting “chicken” or being the King of “chicken” ?

Maybe Conor is trolling his haters

Dude you get between 500-2 mill for a superbowl star. That's the biggest celebs in the world.

Usain bolt has signed contracts with a bunch of companies like puma etc. He does ads for then year round and stuff.

If you think he got a mill for this ad.. Lol

BK is trolling Conor, but he’s in on it — like when you intentionally post in a troll thread like this one — and he’s getting paid.

Conor could really rake it in if the ad does well. Typically, commercials pay a base fee plus royalties that are based on how much the ad runs and the total viewership. So, if the ad is successful, BK’s chicken sandwich sales increase, they keep running the ad, placing it in higher-rated programs, netting him bigger royalties. If it flops, the ad goes away, and he gets no additional checks.

My friend did a Skechers ad that has run for a while and was happy as hell that it ran during the Super Bowl, as it netted him a nice check from a contract like this.

I thought about this one day, and it's obviously Conor that is trolling by promoting a chicken burger. funny guy can make fun of himself and join in on the joke <Lmaoo>

I told Conor's management he should have gone Subway instead

The mastermind behind this whole (subtle bash, greatest in history I'd dare say) campaign must be, therefore, one of us...I pay my respects to the genius of the great Anonymous Sherdogger: "We are not worthy!".

We have infiltrated Burger King. The Government is next.

“Superbowl star” is celeb stuff in the USA only ... a relatively small part of the world ... about Bolt, exactly, he gets 30 mil for year round worldwide campaigns and activities, Conor got 1-3 for one worldwide campaign.

Anyway, who cares about other people’s earnings, I was just chiming in with some info from people who work in the field, congrats to Conor for earning a good income whatever it actually is.

Superbowl stars are the biggest celebs in the world? LMAO, you are deluded son. worldwide the most popular athletes are soccer or basketball players. Both of those sports are global, soccer to a greater degree, but basketball also has a big following in China. Football is not. Nobody in Europe, South America, Asia, etc gives a fuck who Tom Brady is. In fact I guarantee Conor is probably more well known than anyone in the NFL in all territories outside of North America.

Conor is actually trolling the bums who eat that garbage.

Only sad bitter broke goofs would even consider a meal from Burger Shit.

<{blankeye}>
There has already been threads of these bitter bums trying the sandwich. He even addressed them in the commercial <21>

I'd love to be trolled by getting paid millions.
