Maybe its just social commentary on the state of affairs with nanny state opioid control? Maybe it needs to be heard? not that anyone would listen LOL. I had state rules contradicting my own doctors prescriptions and had never experienced "the opioid world" before my surgery. Fortunately I was in and out quickly. Even so, I was like " WTF California, I have a prescription for these things that you are interfering with and haven't had a refill yet!"! Nanny state out of control, and unfortunately yes, responding to a real problem. Again unfortunately by denying folks that need them most sometimes. Hope Bonnar is ok.

So why is it I feel bad for this junkie because he was an ex ufc fighter? It's on him and he's in this situation because he likes abusing drugs and or alcohol. I don't feel bad because he has a choice!

But I'm hoping at least some family, friends or fighter associations can get to him or try...

Addiction plus thousands of blows to the head ain't too good for the brain. These athletes who take a lot of physical trauma mixed with frying your brain with dope always seem to show severe problems. I don't consider Bonner that old of a guy either. Unfortunately I think it's going to get worse.

That's Conor's future if he ever goes flat broke. Addiction is sad and disturbing but surprisingly easy to predict. Hope he can get help, and not the Fabia kind.

He has lots of money. Plenty of it for drugs/ rehab ad nausem. Bonnar doesn’t

He’s most likely developed a dependency on pain meds and needs professional help getting off them along with healing and pain management.

It’s extremely common nowadays. Hope somebody at UFC can step up and get him in a high end rehab facility.

Mostly litigation issues because of major pharm lawsuits. But don’t worry, China has control of Afghan poppy fields now.

Ran outa pain pills and went to the pharmacy apparently who wouldn't refill (as he wasn't due yet).

Sad story. What could honestly help him? He needs to be around family and work on a farm or something. Hopefully his future is much better than his present.

No passion and drive seem to lead people to detrimental addictions.

Some folks around me kinda freaked out when I started to use Kratom to deal with my eroding neck and shoulder...

Doctor's wouldn't give me anything of worth (contradicted each other with script limits) and therapy was pretty useless.

I made tea with it for bout a year and a half and only when my back prevented regular sleep and work. No problems not using it again but I know people have destroyed themselves with it as well...
