decision fighters are hard for me to get behind. belal is skilled. and its the opponents job to stop him from the slow grind. he does it well and hes gotten far enough to get the gold. fine. but nobody wants to buy a ppv with belal as a headliner. i wont say hes worse than anybody else. but hes boring.


as for outside the octagon, the thing that bothers me about him is that he was born in chicago but he makes an issue about palestinian heritage and wants to rep their flag. plenty of other american born fighters have all kinds of different heritages but they rep the USA flag. why snuff where you came from for somewhere you've never been? just rubs me the wrong way. ashamed of where he came from type shit.

Buying a ppv is the ufc's job to sell ..a fighters job is to win above all else...for all the people saying hes unskilled or boring...try for even 2 mins fighting like he does go join a Martial art club and try it out...then imagine trying to do that for 25 mins with an opponent whos trying to K.O you...
