Is anyone here actually on TRT?

What always amazes me about these convos about trt is how easy people make it sound to get the stuff.

Few years ago when I was working out like a barbarian, trying to get my skinny ass as big as possible - I asked my family doctor about putting me on the stuff.

The amount of tests he was going to put me through, the number of medical people he was going to make me see, before even contemplating putting me on it... forget it! And so never did.

And yet the convos I read on here make it sound as easy as picking up tic tacs at the local convenience store.. picked up a 6 pack the other day, stuff is great.

How the hell? Laws must be different between our countries like getting guns.

That or y'all are getting it in a shady manner, like scoring some weed on the corner.

How old are you.

You’re age definitely matters. Once you go on TRT, it’s pretty much lifetime deal. It may supress what’s left of your body’s ability to produce T.

If you’re in your 20’s or 30’s, Doctors are going to try everything possible first before putting you on it.

I’m mid to late 40’s. So it’s not uncommon for someone my age to be sub 200. I know this is a lifetime deal for me now. But my T test came in 100-120 before I started.

It's probably for the best I didn't cuz I would have od'd on the shit I was so desperate to get big. But hearing the long term effects of continued trt usage, wouldn't have been a good idea.
yeah when you have an insecure or addictive personality its best to stay away from that stuff, you see those people who are insecure and start getting plastic surgery they go overboard.

You might start looking like a mass monster with purple skin.

I inquired about my hormones, arguing back & fourth with Dr's since I was 17. So I'll try and keep this brief.

Dr's tell me there's a "Low - average - high" chart for testosterone reading. At 17, I was borderline between low & average. I said at 17, my T should be sky high & the highest It will ever be surely? No help.

Two years later I have two more blood tests. Which were a little lower. They refused to give me anything.

I get a referral to a n endocrine specialist who agrees with all my points. He basically told me mine are lower than expected for a man of my age, and that I would probably benefit from T.

But still no. Here's how it is with NHS doctors:

They won't take risks. I am basically in every other way a healthy young man, so they don't want to risk breaking something that isn't broken.

Now when I get a blood test instead of saying "low-medium-high" T levels, they say everyone is different & that it's down to what works best with the individuals body.

I say I feel like shit and they still wont help. I can see why people get so pissed off and get drugs from the internet.

Why not inquire about Clomid? A lot of people have told me about that stuff and they say it its safer and will give you a libido and energy boost, its normally used as a fertility drug, I think they say the porn stars use it to bust massive loads.

I heard there's a possibility of getting prostate cancer so I've been holding back.
I think enlarged prostate which could lead to cancer, many men develop enlarged prostates from sitting down too much, I think you have to take Propecia or finasteride to help with it.

yeah if you are in your 20s or 30s and hoping on the stuff, it makes no sense. Especially in your 20s. 40s 50s 60 yeah no big deal. but these young dudes hoping on trt baffle me.

a lot of shit can lower your libido and test levels, including school, work and family stress, depression, lack of diet and workouts, pollutants, soy, etc.

Will maybe think about it when I'm in my 50'(if I feel I need it). I turn 45 next next month. I work out regularly, eat well, and stay in good shape. I would hope that I never need it....but if I ever felt a loss of libido or just a feeling of blah.....I would definitely look into it.
