Well ideally a journalist will remain unbiased and won't allow their politics to influence their reporting. Of course we know that's not always the way it works, but in theory at least it shouldn't matter what her political affiliation is.

I agree for her job it's probably for the best actually.

I had in mind guys like Ben Shapiro and Milo for instance, they always usually stick to their beliefs and party no matter what.

I don't spend much time watching Fox, but from what I have seen of her, well, yeah, she followed the company line. When it suited her.

What those guys do isn't really journalism. It's more political commentary and advocacy.

Well you have to remember that there's a difference between "the news" and news-based commentary and opinion shows.

If a reporter is just reporting the news, then their personal political beliefs are not supposed to have any influence whatsoever on their reporting. They are supposed to do everything they can to be fair and unbiased.

If, on the other hand, it's an opinion show like what Bill O' Reilly or Piers Morgan do then they still have a duty to make sure their facts are accurate, but there's not a duty to remain unbiased. In fact, since it's an opinion-based show you expect the opposite, that the host's personal feelings and beliefs will play a big role in the content.

As some of you no doubt remember, Megyn Kelly was a FOX News mainstay for a long time. The host of The Kelly File and an extremely visible member of the FOX team, I grew to associate her with the network and the network with her.

I was shocked when she jumped ship and left FOX to join NBC. It seemed almost unthinkable to me, but there she went, and I've kept tabs on her ever since to see how well things were going to go for her.

Well, they're not going super-well. Her newsmagazine Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly fared poorly in the ratings and was put on hiatus. And her hour-long slot as part of The Today Show also isn't doing great and has come under criticism.

And just yesterday, an article broke calling the atmosphere surrounding her show "toxic," saying:

I've always liked Megyn Kelly so it's tough to see her struggling, but honestly, I don't even know what the fuck NBC is doing with her. Why is a woman known for hard-hitting journalism a host on the mellow, easy-going Today show?

Is anyone else following what's going on with her, or is just me? It's actually pretty fascinating to watch, even though I'd rather see her be successful.

She lost a major segment of her fanbase when she left Fox news and outed herself as a phony conservative. The left/liberal crowd don't accept her because she was a 'conservative' and used to work for evil Fox news.

The way Trump said it, if you listen to the recording correctly, is that he "just grab 'em by the pussy" in the context that women will let him do anything just because he is famous. So he isn't asking them to grab them there, he is just lunging at them and assuming it's ok because of his wealth and status.

You're missing the point by being disingenuous as per what Trump really meant when he said it. He basically said he has women's implied consent because he is rich and famous and that they "just let him".

Yet here he is with multiple allegations against him and the guy is too scared of being deposed so he isn't suing.
