Is anyone else annoyed by Usman?

He is really hesitant to fight Emil Meek and it's pretty annoying. No casual fan knows who the hell he is yet he's saying Emil Meek does nothing for him. Emil almost got the fight taken away from him for no fault of his own and seems like a really good dude. He notified the UFC he needs to delay his debut because he takes supplements that aren't allowed then texts Usman apologizing that he can't get his Visa even though it's not his fault and all the sudden he wants to deny him the fight. IMO Usman hasn't fought anyone that showed me he's all that great. His best win is Warley Alves who no one knows at least Emil KO'd Palhares who was destroying fools.

Usman is most likely pissed because he's 6-0 and still can't get a top 15 opponent, or even a "name".

Hell, even one of the guys he beat, Leon Edwards, got Albert Tumenov shortly after their fight.

Warley Alves and Sergio moraes are good wins imo... especially KOing Sergio in the first round...

Emil meek has no notable wins except a demotivated Jordan Mein and a fluke win over palhares. Usman tools Meek IMO

BUT -Dude has been showing a step up in his striking game and trying to finish, so he could well be legit.

Will keep an eye on him to see how he fares stepping up the ladder of competition.

I mean, he did agree to fight Meek in the first place so he should fufill the obligation.

I do understand why he's frustrated though. He has been dominant in all of his fights is 6-0 and has some good names in there, better than Emil already. Hopefully he gets a good fight after Meek, who i expect him to run over.

Usman has every right to be pissed off. He's 6/6 in the UFC but nowhere near the title. Colby got beat by a guy that Usman easily beat yet he gets to fight Maia? Usman called Maia out ages ago when Maia was running through everyone. At this rate Usman is gonna have to win like 12 in a row to get a title shot.

Usman made a good point on the MMA hour that RDA got ranked a few spots ahead of him with 1 win at WW over Saffiedine.

I think Usman might actually be top 3 in the division in terms of actual ability. Guy is a legit monster and I can see why people duck him. Extremely high risk, low reward.

It's not really his fault that the UFC only puts him against relatively unknown, but dangerous guys.

I think Usman is annoyed at the delay, and the fact the he wants to whoop Convington's ass...which would be a better fight and more of a boost for him competition wise.

Usman arguably has the skills to be top 5 if not a soon-to-be contender, and hes getting unranked opponents on dominant winstreaks

True but to deny someone the fight even though it was out of his hands is shitty. Especially because the other fights he mentioned weren't going to happen so he was going to decide to not fight instead of fighting Emil.
