Is Anderson retiring either way the best move post-fight?

Since this is a non-title fight; would it be best for Anderson to retire on good faith? Aka winning makes him more of a legend and losing makes him look like he's going out on top or near top (with a weight class advantage to the opponent)?

I think you underestimate how much Anderson Silva cares about making dat Anderson Silva money. He's not retiring yet.

Chum lets just watch the fights, no cunt here can say what he should do, many factors will determine many outcomes and a few decisions will be made on the back of that, timing beats speed everyday of the week

On paper Anderson should get demolished and most likely knocked unconscious depending on how nice DC wants to be to him, but you really can't put what Anderson brings to the fight on paper.

No, did you see the press conference where Dana was asked if Silva wins against Cormier, does a title fight instant rematch make sense? Anderson went crazy in the affirmative. He yelled more yeses than a cartwheeling Diego Sanchez. If Anderson and doesn't get hurt too bad, he just goes and fights Shogun, Rashad or one of the other aging stars of the sport that are hanging around MW now.
