Is Amanda Nunes getting a bit carried away with her win?

Nope, not really.

Let the lady enjoy her win, she's been working towards this all her life. And let's be honest, we all know the sport, she may lose her next fight and never reclaim the title. I say all the power to her, enjoy being the champion while it lasts.

What's interesting about this, is that in California, when you go to some of these smaller events, it was VERY common for a NUMBER of years to see guys walking around wearing these bulky obscure belts from promotions you've never even heard of. I shit you not, in the 2005-2008 time frame, I must have gone to 10-12 smaller events (you're talking small, obscure little cities like Colusa, Yuba City, Lemoore etc) - Gladiator Challenges, King of the Cages, Pure Combats, WECs, etc - and there would ALWAYS be a couple guys with their belts in attendance strolling around like they were king of the mountain. I always thought it was a little cheesy, but nobody seemed to mind it too much.

Amanderson Silva Nunes is just enjoying her belt and life right now. It's not everyday you become world champ of a major sports organization like the ufc. Too bad Holly's going to crush her in brutal and devastating fashion.

I like Nunes, even though I don't think she'll keep the belt I'm happy she squashed Tate and became a world champion. Good thing about Nunes is that she's too dumb to be nervous, so pressure won't be an issue.

No, I think she is reacting the way very many people would. People want to see these people with their belts. Instagram or whatever is an easy way to do it.

The hedgehog, and the dog are pretty cool btw. Humorous and amusing. She's proud and has every right to be. as long as it doesn't go on everyday for the next 4 months or whatever til she fights again. It's a new novelty. It'll wear off.

But nah, she's still being pretty normal about it.

This is a bit over the line for disrespecting the fighters. Not way over the line, but a bit over the line.
