i think we should stop using the word gatekeeper...

it can mean anyone ranked # 1- 50 on sherdog.

To me, a gatekeeper is a guy that can’t beat the elite but can beat everybody else. The top 10-20 range. So they’re the guys you gotta beat to take the next step. But you’re right, some people will call anybody that hasn’t won a title a gatekeeper.

At this moment no he isn't. Gregor Gillespie isn't even top 10 and he'd rip Hernandez's head off. He has the potential to become one if he develops well though. I think it's pretty likely he takes a loss against Trinaldo who is probably the most underrated fighter in the UFC which will lead people to shit on him most likely but they shouldn't because Trinaldo is a hard out.

I'm surprised he's -190 odds, frankly. Lots of fighters have in hindsight regretted bullrushing Trinaldo.

im looking to see how hernandez deal with trinaldo out the gate. if any one starts this fight fast its trinaldo. trinaldo throws bombs until he cant.

Aubin-Mercier is a great win although hes green.

Dariush is underrated. Even in his losses he's winning the fight until he gets finished. Elite skills but his chin isn't all that.

OAM is 29/30 and has had about a dozen ufc fights. Dariush is a better fighter imo.
