Is Adesanya #2 MW in ufc history a general opinion here?

Some of you guys are so easily baited. No one in the world legitimately thinks Yoel is the second best MW.

Yes, I legitimately do believe yoel is the second greatest middleweight of all time, for all the reasons I laid out

Had Pereira been a little more measured/patient like he trained Strickland to do hed have been a lot more successful.

Izzys fought from HW to MW his whole combat career. Very little if any advantage for Pereira imo

Ye becuase I watched the fights. Why can’t he win all the close fights? Is there a reason other than “well ummm you can’t just give him all the wins cause they were close”? Seriously? you sound like one of those “you gotta beat the champ to be the champ” or “you can’t back up and win” types of people with all these odd rules that just needlessly complicate things, you can win 3 close fights in a row

I don’t like him specifically becuase I saw him getting gifted decisions twice. Plus his boring wins over marvin and jared just made it more annoying. it’s like god was gifting him the belt no matter what so he never had to be exciting, but could always trash talk and hype the fight up like it was going to be a barn burner

Izzy beat whittaker 48-47 atleast with 49-46 and 50-45 being reasonable scores.

I'm Used to people always giving whittaker every benefit of the doubt anyway. He lost to till and Yoel in the rematch and very obviously thoroughly outclassed by Izzy but like brandon moreno, he wins every "close fight"
in the fans eyes, even if it's not actually close (like izzy vs Whittaker 2, Figgy vs Moreno 3)


And izzy actually is a more exciting fighter than whittaker, vettori or cannonier. his fights are boring cause his opponents are shook. The fights are good are the ones with alex, costa and gastelum because they weren't NEARLY as opposed to getting hit.

It's OK, you can have an unpopular opinion. Just admit there's no rational thinking behind it and that you're biased. You love Romero and you hate Adesanya we get it.

I never watched his fight versus till but losing to yoel was pretty clear

49-46 and 50-45 aren’t reasonable

He can win all the close fights if he did slightly more than his opponents in the swing rounds
