Iron Man vs Predator

They were geared up fighting the Aliens. The Aliens blood melted their armor.
Listen I like the Predator but they have been killed by Aliens, Arnold, Prime Danny Glover, Lawrence Fishburn, Adrian Brody.
I can't even believe anyone thinks a Predator can even last more than a minute with Iron Man.
The only two on the list of people/Aliens that killed the Predator that could last more than a minute against Iron Man is Prime DAnny Glover and maybe the Queen Alien.

In the Predators movie they specified that the Predators were still hunting for sport. This is the equivalent of a trained military sniper challenging a UFC fighter to an MMA fight. They cut to the bare minimum to challenge themselves with sport fighting.

Here's what you forgot about AVP:
After the events from AVP (And I don't like the AVP franchise at all), a LONE predator is sent to investigate the crashed ship. He destroys hundreds of aliens by himself and fights a hybrid to a stalemate/draw.

And here's what their technology awards them:
Against Superman, they had a technology that infected the Man of Tomorrow with a virus that caused his powers to fluctuate between regular and extremely weak. This gave the Predator stalking him a fair shake with Superman. Ultimately, Predator was defeated but he still had a fair fight with Superman when equalized by his species' technology.

Against Batman, Batman wasn't able to figure out definitively where the Predator duo was and they weren't even prime hunters. It was an older Predator teaching a younger one about hunting while sharing war stories with him. They were there as a coming of age father/son bonding trip like they were fucking fishing and brought the fight to the Dark Knight and Robin.

Maybe Iron Man will win but Predator technology isn't to be taken lightly. They would have some way of equalizing the suit.

For those saying Iron Man's weapons would easily kill the predator, keep in mind a full squad of trained commando's with automatic rifles, grenade launchers, and a freakin mini-gun, had a hard time even hitting the predator at close range.

Yea but Stark has JARVIS to help with targeting, etc. And the predator's cloaking wouldn't work cuz Tony could just turn on his infrared too. Stark in a landslide. Not even close.

Predator is a stealth, ambush hunter. Not made for a stand up knock out drag out fight.

I would change the question to...

Assuming Tony is wearing his Iron Man suit, would the Predator be able to perform a stealth kill if Tony was unaware he was being hunted...

I would expect Predator - or someone from his planet - would be able to defeat Iron Man more often than not, quite handily. Its obvious that Predator's people have superior technology in general, but it chooses to use "old school" type weapons when hunting wimpy humans for sport. So although I agree Iron Man would likely defeat an unsuspecting Predator here on his hunting va-cay, when word got back to the home planet that there was a special badass earthling to hunt, the Tony Starks of Predator's world would love to use their special toys to come here and woop up on wimpy Earth Iron Man.

Its obvious that Predator's people have superior technology in general, but it chooses to use "old school" type weapons when hunting wimpy humans for sport. Cant argue with that, but you are assuming the Preds go all out Technovore, and that is still up for debate.

Iron man has built suite that travel at faster than light speeds, take little damage from heavy blows from objects like asteroids, hulk's punches, and Thor's hammer, and can resist the heat of the sun.

Predators tech is primitive compared to the best of Marvel earths scientists.

Movie Iron Man not Comic Iron Man. And we're not protecting him with Comic Plot Armor. Same as the James Bond versus Batman thread I made, which for some reason got dumped into Wasteland (I have no fucking idea why, bitter bitch made mods most likely) where the "But he's Batman" argument came up. The problem is, yes he's Batman but this isn't a DC Comic.
